Cookies

This site sets no cookies. No session cookies, no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies. Nothing is written to your browser's storage unless you explicitly take an action that requires it (there are currently no such features on this site).

Analytics

This site does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other user-tracking analytics service. There are no third-party scripts that identify you, build a profile of your behaviour, or share data with advertisers.

Aggregate, anonymous visit counts may be provided by Cloudflare's infrastructure-level Web Analytics, which collects no personal data and sets no cookies. Cloudflare's privacy policy is available at cloudflare.com.

Server logs

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare's servers automatically record standard HTTP request logs — your IP address, the page you requested, the time of the request, and your browser's User-Agent string. These logs are retained by Cloudflare for approximately 30 days in accordance with their standard data retention policy and are not accessible to or processed by me.

Fonts and external resources

All fonts are self-hosted. No requests are made to Google Fonts, Adobe Fonts, or any other third-party font provider. All typefaces load from this domain.

There are no embedded social widgets, share buttons, or comment systems that load third-party scripts on page load.

Some teaching posts on this site include embedded YouTube videos, served via YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). These videos do not set cookies or build a viewing profile unless you choose to play them. No data is sent to YouTube on page load; a request is made only when the player is interacted with. YouTube's privacy policy governs any data collected at that point.

Email contact

If you write to me by email, your message and email address are retained in my inbox for as long as is necessary to respond or keep a record of the correspondence. Email is on your terms: you initiate it, you control what you share, and you can ask me to delete it at any time by writing to info@farhaanahmed.com.

Your rights

If you are based in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the GDPR and the UK GDPR respectively, including the right to access, correct, or erase personal data held about you. Given that this site collects almost no personal data, the practical scope of these rights is narrow — but they apply nonetheless. Write to info@farhaanahmed.com for any data-related requests.

Changes to this notice

If this site ever adds features that affect privacy — an email newsletter or contact form — this notice will be updated to reflect that before the feature goes live. The site's source code is available for inspection on request.
