Speaking at BRAC University and North South University on the ICC

It was a pleasure to speak about the work we do at the International Criminal Court — the legal framework, the Court’s structure and functions, and the challenges it faces — with students at the School of Law, BRAC University, and the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, North South University, on 23 and 24 December 2024 respectively. It was a pleasure to participate in the Sixth Asia Pacific Forum of The Hague, focusing on the region’s engagement with and contribution to the International Criminal Court (ICC). The Asia-Pacific is one of the most underrepresented regions here at the Court.

Judging the ICC Moot Court Competition Final 2024

It was an interesting experience participating in the ‘Mock Trial and Training 2023’, organised by the Association of Defence Counsel practising before the International Courts and Tribunals at the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals, The Hague. Kudos to the organisers and fellow participants.

Judging the Dutch Qualifying Rounds of the Jessup Competition 2023

It was a pleasure to judge the Championship Round of the 2023 Dutch Qualifying Rounds of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition at Amsterdam Law School on Saturday, 25 February 2023. Congratulations to both finalists — the University of Amsterdam and Leiden University — and to all the participating teams.
